Connecting with community is a vital aspect of our faith journey. We strive to make it as simple as possible to connect with others at Trinity. Here’s how.

CONNECT WITH LEADERS

We’ll gladly connect you with Trinity Leadership so you can meet and get better acquainted with our story, practices, and how we do life together. Our team enjoys getting to know you so we can find the best way to connect you with others. Contact melissa@indytrinity.org if you are interested.

CONNECT WITH YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD/PARISH

Each of us reside in a geographical area that connects us with other Trinity goers. We call these parishes. We’ll help you connect with your parish point person and other folks in your parish. To connect with your parish, email melissa@indytrinity.org.

JOIN OR START A GROUP

Trinity Groups are how most people dig deeper into community at Trinity. Groups  take all shapes and sizes. For a more in-depth description, check out the Neighborhood Gatherings page. Contact melissa@indytrinity.org if you are interested in joining or starting a group.

In addition to parishes and groups, we gather together in other ways. Here are a few other ways you can connect.

PARTICIPATE AND PARTNER

COMMUNITY CONVERSATIONS

Periodically, we come together after Sunday Gatherings to discuss aspects of life and faith. Community conversations are some of the best ways to hear and know one another. Upcoming conversations are promoted in the Sunday Gathering bulletin and in our weekly e-news (sign up for weekly e-news by request).

SERVE WITH KIDS OR YOUTH

The Trinity Family walks with our kids and teens as they grow. You can serve on Sunday morning with kids or on Sunday afternoon with youth. To get connected with our family ministry, contact britney@indytrinity.org

GROUPS AND CLASSES

CIVIC ACTION GROUP

Civic action is important to us at Trinity. Let us know about your interests and we’ll communicate opportunities for civic action in our broader community. You can also invite others to join you in the civic action you’re passionate about. Contact joel@indytrinity.org

SEASONAL SMALL GROUPS

In the fall and spring, we hold at least two discipleship groups - one in Broad Ripple/Midtown/Downtown and one in Fishers -  that meet simultaneously over a 5-10 week period with each group covering the same content. Information about these groups is communicated in the weekly e-news (sign up for weekly e-news by request) and Sunday Gathering bulletin.

ONE-ON-ONE DISCIPLESHIP

SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

Spiritual direction is a form of soul care that offers an individual the opportunity to meet with another Christian for the purpose of examining their relationship with God. Director and directee meet regularly (i.e. weekly, monthly, or quarterly) for conversation and prayer. A director is not an advisor but a facilitator - helping the directee pay attention to what God is doing in their life. Those who benefit most from spiritual direction are those who desire more of God (description adapted from Dahlia Fraser, “Spiritual Direction—A Brief Introduction”). If you are interested in exploring spiritual direction, contact melissa@indytrinity.org.

SEASONAL MENTORING AND COUNSELING

We aim to be a community where we each find Godly counsel and support from one another in our day-to-day life experience. When we are facing a particular challenge or hardship, there are times we long for wisdom or support from someone who identifies with our experience.  If you find yourself in a season where you  would appreciate meeting with someone in the Trinity family, the pastors would be happy to help locate someone for you. You can contact Trinity’s pastors at melissa@indytrinity.org.

For more information on how to take part in any of these opportunities for connection, email us at contact@indytrinity.org. To stay in the loop with what is going on around Trinity, we recommend signing up to receive our weekly e-news. Just email us at the address above, and we'll get you signed up.
